Vegas Baby!

This past weekend was a momentous one...my first trip to Las Vegas! I must say this place truly is unbelievable. As a New Yorker, I didn't expect to be blown away...I mean can anything really compare to the lights of Times Square?? The thing is, it's completely different...there is absolutely no sense of time, direction or purpose. Everyone there is looking to unload and have a great time. Yes, there are crowds and foot traffic. Yes, there are bright lights and tons of skyscrapers. But, unlike NYC, everyone was truly enjoying it. There was no mad rush to the subway or pushy people desperately trying to protect their Starbucks and New York Times. I was probably the pushiest (protecting my shoes, not my newspaper)!
